Cases of corona virus infection have increased rapidly in two Beijing hospitals, raising fears that an epidemic may be spreading in the city.

Beijing's measures seem to reflect a strong effort by officials to reduce the spread of disease in the capital, as millions of workers gradually return to work after the long Chinese New Year holiday.
