East African Country Malawi destroyed 19,610 doses of Astrazeneca vaccine expiry, although WHO said that it was still injected until mid-July.

Lot of 102,000 doses of Astrazeneca vaccine came to Malawi, East Africa nation borders Mozambique, on March 26 thanks to the initiative of the African Union (AU) and WHO.

Malawi Medical Minister Khumbize Chaponda placed a vaccine bag into the crematorium in Lilongwe to destroy on May 19.
