China Nuclear Electrical Group (CGN) on July 30 announced the decision to stop operating the No. 1 reactor of Taichan factory for maintenance after a long discussion between French and Chinese technical staff.
CGN said both units of Taichan factory maintained safely and stabilized during operation, while affirming the incident at the No. 1 reactor completely under control.
