The Chinese Ambassador to My Qin Cuong called on the conflicts in Ukraine to calm down, immediately stop firing and resuming the negotiations.

Lavrov also stated that Russia no longer focused on the Donbass region in the East but expanded its special military campaign to southern Ukraine and other areas.

China did not condemn the Russian military campaign and imposed sanctions on the country, and called on the negotiators to find a peaceful solution.
