Marc Short, Pence's chief of staff, and advisor Marty Obst received a positive result for nCoV on October 24.
Chief of Staff Marc Short is also the spokesman for US Vice President Mike Pence and regularly accompanies him on business trips.
Vice President Pence learned that Short was positive for nCoV before he left to speak in Tallahassee, Florida, some sources close to said.
Bloomberg also reported that Marty Obst, Pence's senior political advisor, was also confirmed positive for nCoV.
It is not clear whether Short or Obst showed symptoms of nCoV infection.
Pence's office said Pence had been in close contact with Short, but he did not quarantine and continue his schedule as "essential personnel" as directed by the Center for Prevention and Control.
Obst is not a government employee but regularly contacts Pence and his subordinates at the White House.
Obst remained silent on Twitter after receiving a positive result for nCoV, although he previously actively posted criticisms of Democratic candidate Joe Biden on the social network.
nCoV entered the White House in September, causing US President Donald Trump, his wife and youngest son in early October to become infected with the virus.
Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie, another Trump ally, was hospitalized for nCoV infection after helping the US President prepare for his first debate with Biden in September. After recovering, Christie announced.
Trump rarely wears a mask before and after a CoV infection, and is said to discourage his aides and neighbors from doing so.
