The Manhattan Court rejected Maxwell's bail request, who was accused of seducing the girls to satisfy the pleasures of American pedophile billionaire Epstein.
Manhattan federal court judge Alison J Nathan on December 28 continued to reject Ghislaine Maxwell's application for bail, saying she was at risk of leaving the US during the trial.
"On July 14, this court conducted a bail hearing and determined that detention of the suspect while awaiting trial is necessary because there are no conditions that can guarantee the defendant will appear at the sessions.
After a failed July attempt to apply for bail, Maxwell's lawyers recently continued to ask Judge Nathan to allow her to be monitored at home electronically while awaiting trial with up to a bail.
Maxwell was accused by prosecutors of being involved in the sex trafficking line of pedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
Maxwell has denied the Epstein allegations.
Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, 66, was arrested in July 2019 and charged with the alleged mass purchase of adolescents, including 14-year-old girls, from 2002 to 2005 at the mansions.
Epstein's death may cause the billionaire's crime investigation to be redirected to another target, 57-year-old Maxwell.
