Trump told supporters in North Carolina he would "never see" them again if he failed the November election.
During his campaign in North Carolina on the evening of September 19, US President Donald Trump continued to attack rival Joe Biden, calling the Democratic representative "the worst candidate in presidential election history.
"If I fail against him, I don't know what to do. I will never talk to you again. You will never see me again," Trump announced.
Neither Trump nor Biden's campaigns were available to comment on his statement.
However, Biden then shared on Twitter a 10-second video of Trump's statement in teasing the President, with the description "I am Joe Biden and I accept this message".

Trump made a similar statement in the 2016 presidential election, competing with Hillary Clinton.
In a June interview, Trump declined to say he would immediately recognize the election results should Biden win.
According to Real Clear Politics's voter poll results, Biden is ahead of Trump by about 6 percentage points.
