Trump will not quarantine 14 days under the new Jersey state rules when he arrives at the golf club here this weekend.
The governor of New Jersey on Friday announced a 14-day quarantine order against anyone from eight states with high rates of new nCoV infections, including Arizona.
However, the White House said he would not quarantine.
"The US president is not a civilian," spokesman Judd Deere said in a statement.
Deere added that standard procedures have been adopted in Arizona to ensure the President is not in contact with anyone who has symptoms or has not been tested.
New Jersey, along with New York and Connecticut, are the only three states that have ordered segregation for people from the current US 8 Covid-19 hotspots: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Utah.

This "travel recommendation" will take effect June 25 and the isolation period will last for two weeks from the last time the person arrives in any of the states listed above.
The decision is made when the summer tourism season starts and the beaches and parks of these states will be filled with people who have fun.
New Jersey, New York and Connecticut will post isolation notices on highways, airports, websites and social networks.
New York will punish violators for isolation of 2,000 - 10,000 USD.
Nearly half of the US 50 states have seen a sharp increase in new infections over the past two weeks as the process of re-opening continues.
