Brazilian President Bolsonaro announced he had been negative for nCoV after the fourth test since the announcement of the infection.
"Test result: negative. Good morning everyone," Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro posted Facebook today, but it is not clear when he last tested.
The 65-year-old leader also posted a picture of him smiling and holding a box of anti-malarial hydroxychloroquine, though it has not been shown to have anti-viral effects.
Bolsonaro on May 23 was photographed without a mask by a reporter while chatting with some sweepers in the garden of the presidential palace.
Brazil is the second epidemic region in the world with more than 2.3 million infections and more than 85,000 deaths.
As of last week, Brazil spent two months without a health minister after Nelson Teich resigned to protest Bolsonaro's support for the use of hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine to treat Covid-19.
