10 people were injured when a car rushed into a parade in the town of Volkmarsen today, whether it was an accident or an attack.
The incident happened in the town of Volkmarsen, about 423 km west of the German capital Berline, this afternoon. Police arrested the driver, but did not say whether it was an accident or if the person intentionally rushed into the crowd.
A German news website HNA quoted witnesses as saying that the driver apparently deliberately crashed into the children during the parade during "maximum throttle acceleration". The incident happened less than a week after a gunman shot and killed 10 people and killed himself in the town of Nahau, western Germany.
