US Protests against the election results in Washington, DC, broke out into violence as Trump supporters clashed with groups against him.
The organizers of the campaign "Stop Stealing" with church organizations on 12/12 called on supporters of US President Donald Trump to join the march and pray to protest the election results.
Trump supporters carry flags and banners marching around the Supreme Court, Capitol Hill and the Washington metropolitan area.
"Apparently the election was stolen. Trump is being pushed out of the White House," Mark Paul Jones, a man from Delaware, Pennsylvania, said on his way to the Supreme Court.
Philadelphia resident Eddy Miller said he was "sure of fraud," despite the court's dismissal of Trump's election fraud allegations.
About 200 far-right members of the Proud Boys joined the march near Trump's hotel.
The police were mobilized to separate the two groups and use tear gas to disperse the crowd.
The protests also took place in many other areas across the United States including Atlanta, Alabama and Mobile, Georgia.
The US Supreme Court on December 11 rejected the lawsuit filed by Texas and 17 other states demanding the cancellation of the election results in four battlefield states that Trump lost: Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
President-elect Joe Biden is expected to win 306 electoral votes and Trump is predicted to win 232 electoral votes.
