"On the Tehran subway, 90% of passengers wear masks, but the rules for community isolation are not followed. In some provinces we have passed the peak, but that does not mean that the peak cannot occur.

Iranian Ministry of Health spokesman Sima Sadat Lari on June 14 and June 15 respectively reported 107 and 113 deaths from nCoV, marking two consecutive days the country recorded over 100 deaths since April 13.

The Iranian government has since closed schools in March, postponed major public events and banned moving between cities to prevent nCoV from spreading, before easing restrictions a month later.

Many people are concerned that the actual number of cases and deaths from nCoV in Iran is much higher due to testing limitations.

Covid-19 has appeared in more than 210 countries and territories, making more than 8.1 million infected, nearly 440,000 dead and more than 4.2 million recovering.
