More than 125 firefighters on May 23 extinguished the fire in a warehouse belonging to Pier 45, San Francisco, California.
The fire erupted at 7:17 pm in the eastern part of the US (6:17 pm Hanoi time), partially collapsing a building south of the pier and spreading it to other buildings of unknown origin.
"A quarter of the pier was burned down by fire," said the San Francisco Fire Department communications officer.
