Beijing capital on 12/6 recorded two new cases as employees working at a meat research center and recently visited a number of markets, Chinese media reported.
The case of nCoV in Beijing was announced yesterday in another part of the city, the first case in nearly two months.
The two new cases in Beijing are male, one 25-year-old and the other 37-year-old who had no contact with Hubei people or people who entered China in the past 14 days.
The China Meat Food Comprehensive Research Center in Fengtai District, Beijing, where the two nCoV-infected people work, is still active today.
Beijing officials closed the beef and mutton sale area at the Tan Phat Dia market and shut down the entire Kinh Tham seafood market.
Beijing has said it has canceled plans for returning first-to-third-grade students to school, scheduled for June 15, after the city reported new cases.
