Vietnam thanks India's support during the ceremony to receive medical equipment, including 100 tons of oxygen, in Ho Chi Minh City today.
The ceremony took place today was attended by the Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs in Ho Chi Minh City, with other representatives of the Vietnamese side, and the Indian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Madan Mohan Sethi.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Government of Vietnam, Mr. Tran Phuoc Anh highly appreciated and expressed sincere thanks to India on valuable and timely support for Vietnam in the context of the translation situation.
Mr. Tran Phuoc Anh expressed its belief that the number of medical equipment will contribute to practically on the fight against Covid-19 in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces, the war against pandemic in the two countries will soon be successful,
Indian Consul General Madan Mohan Sethi affirmed that India always takes care of relations with Vietnam, considering Vietnam as an important pillar in the East Action Policy, and affirming that Indians are always close to Vietnam
Mr. Suithi also expressed hope that Vietnam in general, Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern provinces in particular will soon overcome the pandemic, the lives of people soon to be restored, economic, cultural and social activities
