Minister Bui Thanh Son said that Vietnam and Indonesia need to coordinate together to cope with the risk of world food crisis.

Minister Bui Thanh Son also suggested that Indonesia restrict the application of trade defense measures to Vietnam's exported goods, soon sign a memorandum of understanding about bilateral trade cooperation in the field of rice for the next 4 years.
In order to maintain the current trade growth momentum and in a more balanced direction, towards the goal of US $ 15 billion in 2028, Vietnam - Indonesia agreed to promote the eighth meeting of the Mixing Committee for Commerce
The two ministers also agreed to encourage airlines to increase frequency and consider opening new routes to connect tourism in the two countries, promoting cooperation to enhance understanding, cultural exchange, trade and tourism.
