Vietnam handed over to the US representative two sets of remains missing in the war, resulting in the overall search for the past 5 months.

The Vietnamese Agency searched for missing people (VNOSMP) conducted the handover ceremony in Da Nang today, with the participation of representatives

These two sets of remains are the result of the 146th and 147th general searches, which takes place from February to June.

The remains have been assessed by Vietnamese and American forensic experts in Da Nang, concluding that it may be related to cases of US military personnel missing in the Vietnam War and proposed to transfer to Hawaii, USA to verify more.

Searching the remains of American soldiers missing in the war in Vietnam is a humanitarian activity between the two governments.
