The United Nations Human Rights Agency asked the UAE to provide information about the latifa princess after the country had not proven she was alive.

"We have not received evidence that princess Sheikha Latifa is alive. We need clear and persuasive evidence from unified Arab Emirates (UAE). That's our top concern."

Hurtado said Ohchr tried to establish a meeting between UN high-end officials and the UAE's new ambassador at this organization.

According to OHCHR spokesman, the "most ideal plan" is the United Nations human rights supervisor who can meet and talk separately with the latifa princess to consider her life aspects.

UAE and the Dubai government have not commented on information.

BBC Panorama on February 17 announced the video showing that the latifa princess revealed that she was "confined to hostage" in a mansion under strict supervision.

Princess Latifa, 35, is one of about 30 children of Emirate Dubai Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, 71, who is also the Prime Minister and Deputy President UAE.

After the fleeing failed in 2018, Latifa was visited by the former Human rights Courth of Mary Robinson.
