Ukrainian defense officials said that the US A-10 attack was at tactical disadvantages and could become an easy target for Russia.
The A-10 excitation will not control our sky, nor unable to stop the opponent's muscle and missile, Yuriy Sak, an adviser of Ukrainian Defense Minister, said on July 26.
The statement was made by Sak in the context of some US Air Force officials last week suggested to transfer an A-10 excitation to the Ukrainian Air Force to oppose Russia's military campaign.
The A-10 will become the target of the Russian fighter and air defense, because we have no effective measures to support these strengths or conceded the opponent's air defense, Mr. Sak said.
Mr. Sak assessed that the A-10 power power could destroy the ground target very well, even surpassed many other aircraft, but not suitable for Ukraine's battlefield needs today.
The US A-10 USA took off from the Davis-Monthan Air Base, Arizona on June 1.
The Sak adviser said the A-10 has more modern and accurate weapons than the Su-25 hygiene being used by Ukraine, but still faces tactical disadvantages such as the Soviet aircraft models.
Ukrainian and US defense officials are negotiating the aircraft that can help Eastern European nations repel Russian forces, as well as build future air force.
At the Aspen Security Forum in Colorado last week, US Air Force Frank Kendall was asked whether the country would intend to transfer A-10 to Ukraine.
This largely depends on Ukraine, Minister Kendall replied.
Su-25 Ukraine flew on the Starokostiantyniv air base in October 2018.
The Ukrainian Air Force in March expressed his desire to own F-15 and F-16 fighters, and claimed that the pilot could learn to drive all the fighters in just 2-3 weeks.
The US House of Representatives recently approved the budget of US $ 100 million, in the 2023 defense authorization law, in order to train Ukraine pilots to operate the US fighter.
General Brown confirmed that Washington and his allies were studying the ability to train Ukraine pilots to operate the NATO standard fighter.
The US Air Force test showed that the 30 mm cannon on the A-10 excitation can kill modern tanks equipped with explosive reactive armor.
