Mexicoc activist gathered in front of the police station, asking for justice for Luzel Padilla, the mother to raise her children with autism, was burned alive at the park.

Prosecutor Luis Joaquin Mendez on July 21 quoted witnesses, said Luz Raquel Padilla, 35, was eaters by three men and a woman and lit fire in the park in Zapopan, Jalisco on 16th.

Dozens of women protested before the Zapopan police station on July 21, accusing officials indifferent and not acting even though Padilla once reported threatened.

Justice for Luz and her son, Guadalupe Ortega, 62, a member of the Women's Network, the group to care for people with special needs, said.

Mexican officials need to pay more attention to the circumstances of women like Padilla and their relatives.

Friends and family brought flowers, purple balloons, visiting Padilla while a priest called for ending violence with women.

We condemned the murder of Luzel Padilla activist in Jalisco, as well as any form of violence against women's human rights defenders and against gender violence, United Nations organization to protect rights.

President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said the incident reflected the loss of values that were highly promoted during the new period of freedom, referring to the time before he took office.
