President Zelensky said Ukraine has avoided disaster thanks to the emergency generation system at the nuclear factory that Russia is controlling.

Ukrainian state nuclear company Energoatom said on August 25 that the fire at the ash holes of a thermal power plant near the Zaporizhzhia factory had disconnected the reactors from the grid.

President Zelensky on August 25 said diesel generators were immediately activated to ensure continuous power supply.

If the diesel power generator is not started, if the factory personnel does not respond promptly after the power failure, maybe we are now having to solve the consequences of radioactive incidents, Ukrainian President said

Russia has pushed Ukraine and Europe with a step away from the radioactive disaster, Mr. Zelensky added, and called on the International Nuclear Energy Agency (IAEA) and other international organizations to put pressure on pressure.

IAEA on August 25 announced that all conventional power lines to Zaporizhzhia factory were restored a few hours after the incident.

Russia controlled the Zaporizhzhia factory from March. This facility continued to be operated mainly by Ukrainian expert of Energoatom.

Recent combat occurred around the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant area, raising concerns about the risk of nuclear incidents that can be compared to the chernobyl disaster in 1986. Russia and Ukraine accuse each other causing tons of tons.

Ukrainian officials on August 9 said that Moscow would disconnect the factory from its national grid to transfer power to the Crimea peninsula.

The fighting around the Zaporizhzhia power plant in Ukraine recently continued to raise concerns about a serious nuclear disaster.

No warning was released when firepower poured down on the Zaporizhzhia factory, the largest nuclear electrical facility in Europe, causing workers to flee.
