The delegation accompanied Pelosi, consisting of 5 Democratic Party members, including the Chairman of the US House of Representatives Gregory Meeks, members of the Intelligence Committee and the Commission for House Military Service.

The destinations during the travel trip are confirmed including Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan, but the office does not mention Taiwan Island.

The delegation of the US House of Representatives plans to organize senior meetings to discuss how to promote benefits and common values, including peace, security, economic growth, and issues.

The Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Pelosi's delegation will visit the country on August 1-2 and are expected to meet President Halimah Yacob and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Long.

The US military, meanwhile, is said to be planning to strengthen the movement of forces and weapons in the Indo -Pacific region.

Taiwan has always been a hot issue in US -China bilateral relations in recent years.
