Sweden announced to contribute at least 3 million doses of Vaccine Covid-19 for the Covax program in 2021, three times the initial commitment.
"With this commitment, Sweden will contribute more than its part of the European Union's goal to share at least 100 doses of vaccines for low and middle-income countries this year," said Thuy Government
The Swedish Vaccine contribution level for this Covax initiative is three times higher than a million doses given earlier the month.
Covax is supported by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Global Alliance for Vaccine and Immune (GAVI).
Astrazeneca's Vaccine Covid-19 of the Covax program was transferred from Congo to Ghana on May 7.
In the announcement of May 4, Sweden is committed to donating 1 million doses of Astrazeneca vaccine for Covax.
