Russia's deputy defense, affirmed that he wanted to strengthen military relations with Myanmar, in the context of the country's military being condemned by the West.

Russian Deputy Minister Alexander Fomin today met Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing in Naypyidaw, during a visit took place a day before the big arena to mark the day of Myanmar armed forces.

Fomin said that Myanmar was Russia's reliable allies and strategic partners in Asia, Moskva "committed to implementing a strategy to promote relations between the two countries," he stressed.

Fomin mentioned that Mr. Min Aung Hlaing participated in Russia's arguments last year to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Great Definition War.

"The parties actively evaluate the same beneficial relationship are growing rapidly in the military sector and reaffirming the determination to make the most of the existing potential to strengthen military cooperation and military techniques,

The visit is the most obvious sign that the Russian support for new military authorities in Myanmar, in the context of the Western west and Asian countries are concerned about the situation in the country.

America, England, Australia and the European Union have imposed sanctions for the Myanmar Military Military Council and the vast business network of the Myanmar army.

Defense relations between Russia and Myanmar have developed in recent years when Moscow provides military and university training scholarships as well as selling weapons for the Myanmar army.
