President Tunisia Kais Saied on July 25 announced the suspension of the National Assembly and fired the Prime Minister, the act of contributing to the opposition was a donation.
Thousands of people have previously poured into the road in many big cities of Tunisia to express their inappropriately in how the government manages the country as well as the increase in the number of Covid-19 in North Africa.
Since Saied was elected President in 2019, he was stuck in a political confrontation with Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi and President of Rached Ghannouchi National Assembly, who hindered the decisions to appoint the Minister as well as
President Tunisia Kais Saied announced the suspension of the National Assembly and fired the Prime Minister on TV on July 25.
The constitution did not allow disbanding of the National Assembly but allowed to suspend, he said, cited Article 80 of the Tunisian Constitution.
Saied also added that the right to exempt Congress will be removed for all delegates.
What Kais Saied is doing is a revolutionary coup and fighting the constitution.
Before the President Saiied made a decision, hundreds of people had risened before the Tunisian National Assembly in the capital Tunis, shouting the slogans against Party Ennahdha ruling and Prime Minister Mechichi.
The protesters also poured down the road in many other cities such as Gafsa, Kairouan, Monastir, Sousse and Tozeur.
Tunisia was facing many difficulties when struggling with the economic crisis, Finance and Pandemic Covid-19.
