Demonstrators walked between obstacles in the city of Yangon on March 27.

The Myanmar Now news site said 91 people were killed by security forces, including 24 in the country's largest city, Yangon and 29 in the country's second-largest Mandalay city.

AFP news agency said at least 24 people died in the protests on 27/3.

The Myanmar military government has not commented on this statistic yet.

Protesters have taken to the streets almost every day since the military arrested State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi and senior officials in the elected government, citing election fraud in November.

The military government yesterday also issued warnings to protesters.

The US and Western countries are increasing pressure on the Myanmar military government.
