India became a third country in the world that surpassed the threshold of 300,000 people died by Covid-19, but many experts said that the real figure was much higher.

India today recorded another 4,454 deaths due to Covid-19, the second day increase since the pandemic outbreak, raising the total number of people died of pandemic in the country to 303.720.

The medical crisis cooled down in major cities like New Delhi and Mumbai, the number of Covid-19 cases daily in India also decreased after reaching the peak on May 9.

"The number of deaths will always increase the number of new cases. People with positive tests will be hospitalized, part of which will die and be recorded after a while," said Gautam Menon Biology professor of college

The outbreak also comes with thousands of black fungal cases (mucormycosis), primarily affecting people with diabetes.

The second Covid-19 wave made an Indian medical system broke due to medical oxygen deficiency, treatment and vaccine.

"The bodies along the Ganges do not seem to be recorded as the dead by Covid-19, but most likely to be the victim of the pandemic", Professor Menon said.
