Senator Hasanuddin said this process consumed about US $ 75 million, adding that the torpedo trial of the cyngala ship after the upgrade was failed due to the launching hoses, causing three sailors to kill.
"I doubt the repair results led to errors that sank by Cyngala. This is a very unfortunate thing," Hasanuddin said, and urged the Indonesian Navy to stop operating submarine Kri Cakra in the same class with KRI
Hasanuddin emphasized Kri Nanggala began to dive with 53 people, more than the maximum allowed to be 38 crew members.
The Indonesian search force today discovered the submarine of Kri Nanggala breaking three and lying on the bottom of the sea off Bali at a depth of 838 m, the final diving site of only about 1.4 km.
The last time Kri Nanggala contacted the command of the command at 3:00 on April 21 to ask for a diving to dive into the sea, then lost contact completely from 4:30.
Officials have not released accurate explanations on the cause of the problem, but think that submarines may be lost, making the crew cannot bring the ship to emerge.
