President Macron cautiously received announcements from President Biden on June 10 on the US would support 500 million doses of Vaccine Covid-19 for poorer countries.

If the US promised to meet 500 million doses at the end of 2021, it was a great news and the EU had to do something to not be inferior, the French President announced.

President Macron did not hide his skepticism on the proposal that the United States made about abolishing intellectual property rights for vaccines because he only agreed to abandon this right.

I am waiting to see what the exact proposal from the US is, Macron said.

Macron also protested what he called American blockade behavior for exporting raw materials that makes the vaccine cannot be produced abroad, which he hopes to be removed at G7.

He called on laboratories, mostly in the United States, supporting 10% of the vaccines they sold.

Macron also welcomed Biden's announcement to meet the summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

I have always supported the dialogue, the French president said.

And Macron asked Americans, as he did with former Trump President, clarifying the targets that NATO towards, especially for China.

In order for this to come true, we need enough European countries with a complete military model like France, Macron emphasized in another clear message sent to Washington.
