EU Ambassador agreed to prolong economic sanctions imposed with Russia since 2014 because of the Ukrainian crisis.
Punishment will be extended for 6 months, by the end of January 2021.
Russian President Putin in Moskva on June 30.
These measures were imposed in 2014, after Russia merged Crimea Peninsula from Ukraine.
The EU is seeking to modify the strategy to deal with Russia.
Germany and France last week proposed to organize summites with President Putin, which was frozen since 2014. However, EU leaders protested.
