China proposed a meeting with ASEAN Foreign Ministers in June in this country, and arranged negotiations on the Myanmar crisis.

The Chinese government source last week said the country is considering holding a meeting with the Foreign Ministers of Southeast Asia (ASEAN) Councils in a non-Beijing city.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Chinese - ASEAN dialogue relations, Beijing wants to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

At the meeting of G7 Foreign Ministers last week in England, Brunei, president of ASEAN present, was invited to attend.
