Poon Lim, the kitchen side on the British armed merchant ship, survived 133 days on lifesaver after being attacked by German submarines in 1942.

Not many people hold the world record and fewer who keep a record live on the longest life.

Poon Lim was born in Hainan Island in 1918. He always likes to take a train and once taken a position on the British ship as a child.

In 1941, two years after World War II outbreaks, the British Navy lacked a serious number of troops after many sailors died or injured in clashes with German warship.

Poon Lim recalled life on rescue boat.

At that time, Lim was studying with an engineer in Hong Kong.

On November 10, 1942, Poon Lim on the armed ship SS Benlomond as a stove sub-worker.

13 days later, SS Benlonmond was discovered by Germany's U-172 submarine in the area of Belem, Brazil, about 1,207 km east.

German submarine launched two torpedoes, sank SS Benlonmond in just two minutes.

5 sailors then get back to canoe.

After two pools in oil and drifting debris, Poon Lim caught a floating lifesaver raft.

When the food is out of food, Lim must find ways to maintain life.

Lim also tied the rope on her raft to the neck of the room to sleep in the sea drowning.

During the process on the Atlantic, Poon Lim was discovered by some vessels but no one rescued him.
