The Russian Defense Ministry said the bomb warehouse exploded at the airport in the Crimea peninsula, causing a series of big explosions but no casualties.
The Russian Defense Ministry today said a number of bombs and bullets for fighters have exploded at Saki airport, near Novofyodorovka settlement on Crimea peninsula.
The agency added that they are looking for the cause of the explosion, but indicates that the airport is not the target of the attacks.
The smoke rises from the Russian military base near Novofyodorovka, Crimea on August 9.
The video posted on social networks shows many tourists fled from the beach, when the big black smoke rises to the sky.
The Crimea peninsula borders the Kherson area in southern Ukraine, which is controlled by Moscow, and near the Zaporizhzhia, southeastern Ukraine, currently partially controlled by Russia.
Sergei Aksyonov, head of the Crimea government, said the area of a series of explosions was blocked.
