Vietnam assisted humanitarian Russian medical consignments totaling 8.5 tons in the context of nCoV infections in the country still increasing.
The shipment of 8.5 tons of fabric masks, other masks and self-hygiene and medical items, was transferred from Hai Phong port to Vladivostok, Russia, on October 23, according to a statement from the Lien Embassy.
The above shipments are scheduled to arrive in Russia after two weeks and will be received by the Civil Defense, Emergency Protection and Disaster Recovery in Primorie Region.
In August, Vietnam also sent shipments of humanitarian aid to Russia, including many personal protective equipment necessary for the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Konstantin Vnukov at that time sent his deep thanks to the Vietnamese government and people, considering this a testament to the traditional friendship relationship and the traditional Vietnam-Russia Friendship Partnership.
