President Trump will vote early in the state of Florida before holding election campaigns in three battlefield states on October 24.
Trump will vote early in person in West Palm Beach, near his Mar-a-Lago mansion, after moving his permanent residence and voter registration from New York to Florida last year.
"I'm here to vote," he told a campaign supporter in the city of Pensacola on the evening of October 23, one of two campaign venues in Florida.
Ten days before the official election, about 53.5 million Americans voted early, a number that led to a prediction that this year's number of voters will hit a record in more than 100 years, according to data from
Early voters showed an interest in Americans for a confrontation between Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden, concerns about the crowds on election day and the danger of Covid-19 infection.
Trump, who frequently condemned mail voting as fraud without providing evidence, voted using this form in two elections that took place after he relocated to Florida, including the election.
Biden still has a nationally ahead of Trump, polls show, but a close race in battlefield states will determine the outcome of the election.
Biden and his wife Jill will also step up campaigning, to the battlefield state of Pennsylvania with two events today.
The Democratic candidate will also hold the campaign in the Bucks and Luzerne counties in Philadelphia with rocker Jon Bon Jovi.
