Trump visits Arizona to mark the 200th (more than 320 km) milestone on the border wall with Mexico, declaring that it "blocks everything", including Covid-19.
"Our border has never been safer," US President Trump said on June 23 at a roundtable meeting in Yuma, Arizona on border security before visiting part of the wall.
Trump said at least 450 miles (720 km) of walls will be completed by the end of this year.
"It blocked Covid-19, it blocked everything," the President said.
Building walls along the 3,200 km US-Mexico border is a key and also controversial promise of Trump during the 2016 campaign. The visit to Arizona took place three days after Trump held his first rally.
The United States recorded more than 2.4 million infections and more than 123,000 deaths.
