Trump continued to attack the impeachment investigation of the Democratic Party and said that they wanted to "erase the future" of the Americans but would fail.

"They want to erase your votes as if they never existed. They want to erase your voice and future, but they will fail because the American people are in power again," President Donald Trump announced at a campaign in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 10.

In a 40-hour speech, the White House boss also said that the Democrats tried to impeach him because they were "desperate" and "this crazy witch-hunting witch" would fail. "The wave of protest will show up in the ballot boxes in the 2020 presidential election, in a way they have never seen," Trump said.

Trump also focused on attacking Hunter Biden, son of former US Vice President Joe Biden, his potential opponent in the race to the White House in 2020. Hunter used to work for Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company that was suspected of involving corruption. Trump and his followers suspect Biden used his power while still in office to help Burisma from being subject to criminal investigation.

The US-controlled House of Representatives on September 24 opened a impeachment investigation against Trump, after a whistleblower accused the US president of urging his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Biden's father and son. Poll results show that 53% of Americans support the impeachment investigation, but 46% believe Trump will overcome challenges and be re-elected.
