US President Donald Trump today re-shared his previous post on the photoshopped image of him giving the Honor Medal to a professional dog who joined Delta task force in a campaign to destroy the dark leader. High State Islamic State (IS) self-proclaimed Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
"A very entertaining entertainment, but the real version of Conan will leave the Middle East and go to the White House sometime next week," Trump wrote on Twitter.
This is the first time the dog's name has been made public by the US president, although both he and the Pentagon had previously stated that this was confidential information to ensure safety.
Conan is a Belgian Malinois dog and became the focus and affection of social media users after Trump shared photos of it and said the animal was injured in the raid to destroy Baghdadi.
In addition to Baghdadi and two children, four women and an IS were killed in the raid. US special forces have obtained many electronic devices and documents in the building.
