The US president praised Kanye West and believed he still supported him, after the American rapper announced he would join the race to the White House.
"He always supports us, and so does his wife," US President Trump said in an interview with Fox News on July 9, referring to rapper Kanye West and reality TV star Kim Kardashian West.
West, 43, wrote on July 4 on Twitter that he would join the race to the White House.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump not only criticized West, but also believed that the rapper would always support his re-election.
West was a supporter of Trump and was invited by the President to the White House.
