At least five experts involved in Iran's nuclear program have been assassinated in the past 10 years, all of which are attributed to Israeli agents.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, Iran's leading nuclear expert, was hit by a fatal bullet after his vehicle was ambushed on the outskirts of the capital, Tehran on November 27.

Fakhrizadeh was Iran's highest-ranking nuclear expert ever assassinated, but he was not the first.

Tel Aviv maintains a policy of not commenting on these allegations, while Washington regularly denies any involvement.

The assassinations of Iranian scientists often have the same method, taking place on their way home from work or from work.

In 2010, particle physicist Masoud Ali Mohammadi was killed in an explosion after he left home.

Later that year, nuclear scientist Majid Shahriar was killed when strangers approached and attached a bomb to his car.

In 2011, Darioush Rezaeinejad, a scholar involved in Iran's nuclear operations, was shot dead by a group of assassins riding a motorcycle.

The reason why Fakhrizadeh's assassination took place at this time is still unclear, as it was carried out almost 10 years after the most recent assassination of Iran nuclear scientist.

The White House boss has always acted tough on Tehran, culminating in the murder of General Qassem Soleimani in Iraq earlier this year.

Israel has also admitted to pursuing covert operations to gather intelligence on Iran's nuclear program.
