Survey results from January 15-17 that POLITICO / Morning Consult released today showed that about 20% of Republicans said they supported "strongly" or "partially" considering dismissing President Donald.
The survey also found that 86% of Democrats said they approved "strongly" or "partially" the terms for considering Trump's dismissal being submitted to the Senate, a slight decrease from the previous poll.
The US House of Representatives last week passed a review clause to dismiss Trump for a second time, accusing him of "inciting riot" after urging supporters to flock to Capitol Hill to hinder confirmation of election results on Friday.

Of the 1,993 general survey participants, about 55% supported the Senate impeaching Trump, while 37% firmly opposed.
The Senate Trump dismissal review will begin only after Joe Biden is sworn in as president on Jan. 20.
About 27% of respondents approved McConnell's consideration of dismissing Trump, while 52% opposed.
