The car with the words "Stop the politics of globalization" crashed into the gate of German Chancellor Angela Merkel's office in Berlin on November 25.
"We are determining whether the driver deliberately threw the car into the gate," the Berlin police said on Twitter.
There have been no casualties and it is not clear if Merkel is inside the building.
In addition to the words "Stop the politics of globalization" written on the right side, the car also has the words "You damn children and old people" on the left side.
Merkel plans to hold an online meeting with the heads of states on November 25, possibly discussing the extension of the epidemic restriction and next steps to fight Covid-19.
