The container contained 39 bodies as part of a delegation of three cars carrying more than 100 people into the UK earlier this week, according to Sky News.

Two vehicles in the group completed the trip but the third one carrying 39 people was stuck in an unknown location. These 39 people were later found dead in refrigerated containers. The destination of the other two vehicles has not been determined.

Essex police have not confirmed or commented on the information. The force said one of its investigations was to determine whether the truck carrying 39 bodies was part of a larger scheme of trafficking into Britain.

Thirty-one men and eight women were found dead in a frozen container in the Waterglade industrial zone, Grays town, on October 23. Police arrested driver Mo Robinson, 25, and three others on charges of manslaughter and involvement in human trafficking. Robinson was charged with 39 counts of manslaughter, human trafficking, illegal immigration assistance and money laundering.

British police chief police chief Martin Pasmore, who was responsible for identifying the victim, yesterday asked Vietnamese in the UK to help identify the 39 victims. Mr Pasmore said his team found "very little" of the ID documents of the victims inside the truck.

The Vietnamese diplomatic agency is working closely with the British authorities, sharing information during the investigation to identify the victims. The embassy has also established a channel to exchange information and coordinate directly with Essex County police, which is leading the investigation of the case and conducting autopsies.
