The White House was blockaded by Secret Service about 20 minutes after an aircraft violated Washington's airspace today.
The US Secret Service's announcement said the blockade took place shortly due to the "risk of violating restricted airspace in the capital area" at approximately 9am local time (21h Hanoi time). .
The roads around the White House were blocked by secret services and no one was allowed near the area. Officials also evacuated workers who are building new fences for the White House. The US Secret Service did not say what happened to the aircraft that violated airspace.
Senior security officials were summoned to jointly monitor the situation, but the plane was "not considered hostile", the North American Air Command wrote on Twitter, adding that the fighters Their have been deployed to the scene.
