Monterey County Police, California awarded $ 5,000 to track down two dangerous killers who escaped from state prison on November 3.
Santos Fonseca, 21, and Jonathan Salazar, 20, escaped from California state detention early this morning, the Monterey County police department announced on Facebook. Both have been detained since 2018 and are awaiting trial on charges of murder and other felony crimes.
Fonseca and Salazar are both described as being 1.7 meters tall, black hair, brown eyes. Monterey Police said it was focusing all its resources to track down the two suspects and would reward $ 5,000 for the information that led to the arrest of the escapees.
"An investigation is underway to determine how they escaped but at this time we cannot provide details about the incident," the Monterey County police notice said. They warned people not to arbitrarily arrest but should call the authorities if two suspects are detected because these are dangerous criminals.
