Trump's speeches and inconsistent actions in the past have made many Americans skeptical of everything about him, including announcing that the President was infected with CoV.

Waking up on Friday morning with news that President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania were positive for nCoV, some Americans were skeptical, thinking that this was just another political "trick" of the host.

"A hoax? Or is this a lie? Is the President more ill than he claims, or is he not sick at all? Is this shocking news just an extreme scam?"

"I don't believe it. This seems to be his way of trying to gain sympathy," said Anthony Collier, a truck driver in Atlanta.

There is no evidence to support these completely unfounded conspiracy theories.

Observers liken these unsubstantiated conspiracy theories to a virus that proliferates in the United States, especially after President Trump's own statements, ignoring reality, and attacking everything.

"No wonder no one believes him. We live in a country where nobody believes in anything," said Armando Iannucci, political critic and TV program director Veep.

"The virus he is spreading is the virus that doubts any factual information," Iannucci said.

Nicole Hemmer, a historian specializing in the role of conservative media in American politics, said that this skepticism is not surprising given the many misinformation that the White House has presented.

The situation did not improve after unclear and incomplete statements from White House officials on October 2.

"I'm not going to give any specific timelines," McEnany told Fox News.

Meanwhile, Dr. Scott Atlas, White House top Covid-19 advisor, told Fox News that President Trump "will make a full recovery".

President Trump is among the most vulnerable to Covid-19, because he is 74 years old and is overweight, two factors that pose significant risks.

Atlas' remarks led Chris Wallace, who ran the first Trump-Biden debate, to warn "nCoV is an unpredictable virus" and argue that Dr. Atlas is not aware of the situation because he does not.

Wallace's warning further intensified when, just hours later, the White House announced that Trump had been taken to the Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

Not only the American people, many officials also expressed doubts about the President's information that the President was contaminated with CoV.

James Zogby, president of the Arab-American Institute in Washington, is also confused.

"Under normal circumstances, we would say 'Oh, my God, the President is sick'. But now what we think about is just the skepticism that is true or not, if this is a trick.

Even people who are not interested in politics wonder what is happening to Trump.

"The chaos and confusion Trump has created over the years has led many to be uncertain what to believe," says Eli Pariser, digital discourse expert and author of "The

Many analysts said that President Trump and the White House are facing a serious trust crisis, and a lack of credibility is "eroding" American politics.

Meanwhile, with the President's "unshakable" support group, they are indignant when they hear anyone skeptical about Trump.

"I think people are looking at him unilaterally. No matter what you say about the President, he is still open and straightforward," said former congressman Sean Duffy, who previously spoke at

Pamela Fletcher, 60, who lives in Grapeland, Texas, said she started praying shortly after she learned that Trump was infected with nCoV.

However, political critic Iannucci argues that Trump's infection with nCoV and public skepticism of this information towards the President is the result of his frequently underestimating the threat of Covid-19, also

"Stick with us. Don't believe what you see from others or from fake news ... What you are seeing and what you are reading is not what is happening," Trump once told one.
