Russian airport maintenance car crashes into a Gulfstream III aircraft on a runway in St. Petersburg. Petersburg due to bad weather.
The Gulfstream III light private jet broke down its body near the right wing after being hit by a maintenance vehicle on the runway of Pulkovo, St. Petersburg evening 27/10. Investigators said rain and snow could have been the cause for drivers not to discover the plane had just landed from Cologne, Germany.
It is not clear whether the aircraft was stationary or was moving on the runway when the accident occurred. No one was injured after the incident.
