Turkey: A man was taken from the rubble of a collapsed building in an earthquake off the Aegean Sea 33 hours after being buried.
Ahmet Citim, 70, was taken from the wreckage of Riza Bey, one of 20 buildings that collapsed during the quake, 33 hours after being buried.
The quake on October 30 killed 51 people, including 49 in the Turkish city of Izmir and two on the Greek island of Samos, many of whom were buried under the rubble.
Turkey lies on the fault lines and suffers many earthquakes.
Greece and Turkey are in a period of escalating tensions over a dispute over gas rights in the eastern Mediterranean.
"Whatever our differences, this is the time when the people of the two countries need to work together," Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis posted on Twitter.
