British police shot a man "apparently related to terrorism" after many people were stabbed at the London Bridge, downtown, on the afternoon of November 29.

"Police were mobilized to the area near the London Bridge at 14h. A man was arrested," London police posted on Twitter. Police also believe many people have been stabbed.

London rescue service said it was a major incident and they sent many teams to the scene.

"At this stage, the details regarding the incident at the London Bridge are still unclear. However, as a precaution, we now consider this incident to be related to terrorism. A man has been arrested by the police. We will provide more information when we can, "the London police posted on Twitter.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he was informed of the incident and wanted to thank the police and emergency services for their prompt response.
