Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini said on Friday that the decision would take effect on March 9, adding that Slovakia would also ban foreign exchange study tours to prevent the widespread Covid-19 epidemic. It is one of the latest European countries to report the first case of nCoV.

Italy, the largest outbreak in Europe, today recorded more than 700 nCoV-positive cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to more than 3,800. Taiwan's diplomatic agency on February 26 raised the travel alert for the islanders to parts of Italy. Accordingly, the Bologna and Veneto areas were warned by Taiwan in the "red", ie "avoid coming or leaving immediately", the rest of Italy at the orange alert level, ie "avoid walking no". necessary".

Turkey, Northern Macedonia also issued similar warnings to citizens when arriving in parts of Italy.

While the Covid-19 epidemic is showing positive signs in China, other parts of the world are constantly detecting the first case, bringing the total number of countries and territories to 95, including many European countries. The world currently records more than 100,000 positive cases of nCoV, of which more than 3,400 deaths and nearly 56,000 have been cured.
